Director: David Green
Cinematographer: Lula Carvalho
As Shredder joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman and some converted henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady to take over the world, the Turtles must confront an even greater nemesis: the notorious Krang.
We explore the vfx facial pipeline so critical to the movie with Pablo Helman. Pablo is a great friend to fxguide having been on numerous fxguide podcasts and in many stories since he joined ILM. Helman was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In addition to the 2016 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, he was vfx supervisor on the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
He has twice been nominated for an Oscar (War of the Worlds (2005), shared with Dennis Muren, Randy Dutra, Daniel Sudick and Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), shared with Rob Coleman, John Knoll, Ben Snow). He made his mark early as a compositor at Digital Domain (Apollo13) before moving to ILM in the mid to late 90s.
