The Moon Unit (TMU) offers true global help for treatments and pitching and we have discussed their work here before. Normally this is for for big budget A list directors, especially in the area of high end commercials.

With 30 contributors in 7 time zones they are a fully international operation. The team is made up of ex –agency ECDs with multiple Cannes Gold Lions,  published authors, ex-film and art directors. With each member of the team having an average of 10 years experience, they have re-defined the process of pitching for many Directors.

TMU has just offered to provide free ideation / concept writing and pitches for interactive, VR, digital, VFX and post-production, and/or ‘branded content’ (whatever your definition is) on any platform.

“We’d like to offer you our Writing & Visual Research/Design services for free on treatments for charities and non-profits” said team leader ‘Alpha’.  “Last year, we did freebies for Amnesty International ex-Norway, UNOS ex-US, NVVE ex-The Netherlands, Talking2Minds (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in veterans) ex-UK, Nothing but Nets (Malaria prevention in Africa) ex-USA, and TEMA (PTSD in First Responders) ex-Canada”.

While there is no guarantee the team can do every project, if you have a creative charity or non-profit project, contact them and mention fxguide. It is a great way to provide outstanding high end production valve for those causes that need it most. It is great to see companies so strongly supporting non-paid charity work. Furthermore if you end up making the spot with extensive post or vfx, then fxguide would love to help promote your work here on our site.
