SteadyMove, a New Plug-In From 2d3, Provides Adobe Premiere Users With
Automated Camera Stabilization.

2d3, the British developer of Emmy Award-winning of professional 3D camera-tracking solutions, announced that their new SteadyMove plug-in will be bundled with all copies of Adobe Premiere® Pro.
SteadyMove is an easy-to-use shot stabilization software for video professionals. SteadyMove is available now for free with Adobe Premiere Pro; an advanced version of the plug-in will be released on July 25th for $99.00, available for purchase online at www.2d3.com.

“With the addition of 2d3’s SteadyMove, Adobe Premiere Pro users will receive an effective, user-friendly solution to deal with one of the most common problems plaguing videographers shaky camera moves,” said Richard Townhill, group product manager for Premiere at Adobe. “Adobe Premiere Pro offers sophisticated desktop editing functionality to digital video professionals and we anticipate our users will quickly embrace the power of SteadyMove.”

Adobe Premiere Pro is a highly adaptable DV-editing tool and is ideal for editing broadcast quality digital video on a laptop or working with multiple layers of analog footage on a professional, hardware-based, real-time system. With SteadyMove, Premiere users have a very simple way to smooth out shaky video sequences. SteadyMove studies the image sequence to calculate the relative camera movement from one frame to the next and then uses this information to remove unwanted movement. An advanced version of the plug-in, SteadyMove Pro, will be launched in the near term providing Premiere Pro and After Effects artists with advanced settings and options added to the basic automated shot stabilization functionality. 2d3 plans to showcase SteadyMove Pro at Siggraph 2003 in San Diego, CA, July 27-31 in
booth #1927.
