Breaking News: Critical Message from Discreet

Discreet has identified an issue that affects ALL users of inferno,flame, flint, fire, smoke, backdraft, and frost that MUST be addressed BEFORE OCT 2ND or your system WILL NOT FUNCTION!

What is involved in the fix?
Downloading a patch file and a PDF with instructions. A few shell commands detailed in the PDF. The fix itself takes almost no time, however two reboots are required in the process. This will cause the time it takes to do the fix to vary by platform.

Discreet is doing everything they can to get the word out on this problem and make sure the fix is available. We at fxguide would also ask that you help notify other users who may not be on one of the various discreet mailing lists or may be running an older version and think they are impervious to such things… this will affect every system.
