Immersive design consortium 5D | Institute will kick off their world-building design discussion series in Los Angeles on March 13, 2012 with ‘5D | FLUX’ presented in association with USC School of Cinematic Arts. ‘5D | FLUX’ will consist of three, 120-minute interactive sessions spanning three evenings aimed at encouraging in-depth conversations about world-building across disciplines. Filmmakers, game developers, production designers, digital artists, urban planners, architects and design aficionados are invited to explore new approach to content creation through virtual production and “world-building.”
This event takes place over three evenings, participants include: Angus Wall (editor), Mike Fink (VFX supervisor, faculty USC SCA), Ron Frankel (founder, Proof Inc), Chris deFaria (Warner Brothers), Andrew Jones (virtual art director) as well as many more from production, visual effects, gaming and academia.
